Fifty shades of grey – and more! A trip to Galway
I went to Galway at the weekend. The reason was partly because I had not been to Galway city but also because, last year, I got to Kylemore Abbey too late in the day to visit. And it was raining. So I promised to go back again so I could see this great garden, when the weather was better.
Well, I DID go back but the weather was not better – it was considerably worse and the situation was not helped by the fact that the night before I had bought an umbrella in Penneys (the Irish name for Primark). I did not realise there was such a thing as a single-use umbrella. Lesson learned there.
Anyway, more to come on this visit, including some more detailed photos of Kylemore Abbey, which is justifiably popular. But for today, just a taste. Do not adjust your set – these ARE colour images!
You still made the trip entertaining. I love the ‘single-use umbrella
loved your pics the stream looked real angry.lol at the umbrella
Really nice pictures! Especially that first one.
I feel sodden just looking at these. They’re lovely though.
Thank you. More tomorrow of the garden – get your coat out!
