Timelapse Tuesday

I was a bit over-optimistic starting this without a stock of successful videos and my plan for this week didn’t go quite to plan. A case of running before I can walk! So this week we have Timewarp Tuesday instead and I will fall back on this when things don’t go to plan!

So yes its me on the left! This was taken at Meadow Primary School in Lowestoft, a school that still exists although now it is an academy*.  I think it does illustrate that I had no chance with fashion though – socks and sandals at 4! I am sure that the girl to the right was Sharon someone and then Clive Wood. Not sure about the one on the right. It was a while ago after all.

And here was an article that was in Popular Gardening in January 1983 with a photo of the Course 17 at RBG Kew. I am hiding at the back, 9th from the left. I joined Course 16 but did a sandwich year so rejoined Course 17. Leo Pemberton is sitting at the front right. At least I am still going, unlike Popular Gardening!

And here I was getting my Kew Dip. I have to say that, to my shame, I cannot remember who I was shaking hands with!

Now I need to get that camera sorted or there will be more embarrassing photos!

Macro Monday answer

It was the flower bud of everyone’s favourite – Calystegia sepium – bindweed!

Nice timelapse. I forgot to check in with The Head Gardener on Monday, so missed the opportunity to score with bindweed 🙂
