Colourful kales and vibrant veg
There is not is much colour in the garden right now but the peacock kales are at their peak: bigger and brighter than ever.
In contrast, the ‘Cavalo Nero’ or black kale is attractive in a different way with its bubbly, steely green leaves. Unlike the peacock kale it will be a useful winter ingredient in meals.
The yellow chard is the veg that keeps on giving and when the sun shines through the leaves it glows in the garden.
It is also happy birthday for the blog. One year on and 365 posts later it is time for a few changes I think so I will start to add more posts on new plants and seeds. I am not sure when I will start these but it will be soon. Thanks for all the comments you have made in the past year and for following me. I enjoy all your comments so keep them coming!
