Quiz week. part 1

I have not done a lot in the garden the past week. In fact it has been all go to get the house sorted for our long-awaited house-warming. I think most people thought we had become recluses and there was not a house at all so it was our chance to welcome friends and let them know what we had been doing for two years.

I have not quite got into a routine with the blog again and I used to do a weekly quiz. Well to make up for it I will do several this week.

Because all my books are in the hall and people were asking if I had actually read them, this week it is all about books. These are classics of some sort – ie. old!

The idea is the same as always. Identify the plants, take the first letter of the (Botanical) name and rearrange to make the title of the book. To help I have given the author. Answers the following day.

Good luck.

The book is written by E A Bowles

I would concur, only because all the letters that I got fit. There were a few that I did not get because I do not recognize the genera. I had to look up the unfamiliar author, and there were not many other titles to choose from, and all of them had letters that I did not find . . . not that they weren’t there too.
