Saltmills and Hook Head
A few more images from yesterday’s trip to the Hook. I love this place and the coastal drive takes you through Saltmills, a tiny village a few km from Hook Head. Apart from the beauty of the bridge over the river a wonderful sight is an old, apparently abandoned yard full of rust. I finally stopped to take some photos since the sun was just too good to waste as it warmed the brown rust.
And a few photos of Hook Church.

The seventh photo actually looks like the bark of a trunk of a tree on its side! Lovely photos, rusty ones particularly – all those interesting shapes.
yes i thought that too. thankyou. i hope the first open day went well in the end
