A vision in verdigris
I can’t be sure whether the owners of this house deliberately chose this remarkable colour for their house or if they got it cheap and decided to go with it; it is certainly not the sort of colour I would dare to paint my house. But this cupric shade is certainly eye-catching and because the house is on the main road in the nearby village of Kilmuckridge it is hard to miss, especially because it is near the great Kate’s cafe where you can get massive breakfasts and huge scones. I think the combination of white and verdigris paintwork and just a drift of simple shasta daisies is effective and really showy.

Kate’s cafe sounds good to me
