Can flowers be evil?
Maybe I need to get out more but the other day, when making a quick visit to Kilmacurragh * I stumbled on a plant that reminded me of the most evil organisms in the universe.
In fact there were lots of them. Cirsium fargesii. Cirsium means it is a thistle and it could be as detrimental to your borders as the Daleks are to humans but I fell in love with this 2.4m high beauty. I cannot find out much about it and it could be that it is a new collection by Seamus O’Brien (who supervises the garden) on one of his trips to the Far East. All I know is that, although I tend to exterminate most thistles, I want this one!

Hi, is it soft spiky or lethal spiky and is that the flower or the remains…very strange but interesting.
LOL – it is spiky spiky and that is in full bloom – it is not as nice when it goes over.
i also like that . but that darlek scares me . when I was little long long time ago ……. I used to hide
