See you at the seaside: Southport Flower Show
I am off to the UK this week for a stint at the Southport Flower Show.
This four-day show is one of the highlights of the garden calendar and is more than a flower show – it is a day out. Of course, being right next to the sea, a few miles south of Blackpool helps!
A few years back, when The Garden Roadshow was in full swing and we did a dozen shows a year Southport was a regular. In fact it was probably in 1990 that I first did a Q&A session at the show. But we have not been for a few years and, now that I am in Ireland it is not so easy to attend UK shows. But I am going over to join Martin Fish and Steve Ott to answer garden questions and give talks for four days at the show from August 14-17th. Maybe I’ll see you there.

I do love shows! Sadly, Southport not being on our doorstep, means we can’t pop in. Will need to earmark, though, for the future. But do have fun! 🙂
Thank you. I miss the shows – we used to do a lot of them. So it will be good to be there and I hope to bump into lots of old friends.
