Brugmansia ‘Angels Proud’
Another rather random post as another ‘Brug’ produces its first flower for me. This one is a big, creamy white and has a sweet, rather lighter perfume than some others. The flowers are really big, thick and heavy. They should have three corollas, one within the other but this bloom only has two and one is stuffed inside the other rather than a series of layered skirts as it should have but then this is the first bloom and I have learned that the first bloom of the season is not always typical.
Anyway this one flower, along with two more on ‘Double Dark Rosetta’ (below – taken today) fill the large greenhouse with perfume and make me very happy.
