As the weather improved for a week the sweet peas finally made some progress. The new growth is getting stronger and the leaves are getting a decent size now. So a weekly job now is to go over the plants, pinch of the tendrils and support them. Slugs still need to be controlled because, although they can’t be bothered to slither up the stems they are still attacking the lower leaves.
